Christopher Morris


Christopher began his legal career in 2001 as a law clerk for the now retired Honorable Gregory Todd in the Montana Thirteenth Judicial District. He then started in 2002 as a Deputy Yellowstone County Attorney until 2006 when he went to work for the Brown Law Firm primarily working civil defense cases. Chrisopher returned to prosecution in 2008 when he returned to the YCAO as a general felony prosecutor. In 2015 he joined the management team of the YCAO and then in 2017 he became the Chief Deputy County Attorney overseeing all operations of the office. In 2024 he joined Frontier Law Firm.

During his practice he has handled most every type of criminal case from minor traffic to homicide jury trials. He has completed over 100 jury trials covering nearly every area of criminal law including juveniles charged as adults.
